Preparing for Energy Storage Testing: Batteries, Complete Systems and Accessories
Clarifying the relationships between battery assemblies, charging devices, inverters and complete products helps create complete testing documentation.
Energy storage equipment often contains several electrical assemblies. Testing documentation should clearly explain how cells, battery assemblies, protection systems, charging devices, inverters and complete products work together, avoiding the use of a single component’s test result as a conclusion for the whole product.
For each model, list capacity, voltage, maximum input and output, interfaces and accessories, along with the operating environment and installation method. Fixed home storage and portable power stations operate under different conditions and should be assessed separately rather than automatically using the same test conditions.
Keep samples and documents consistent throughout the project, paying particular attention to critical component replacements, protection logic and firmware changes. Existing reports can be submitted to engineers to assess their applicability. GTG can help organize documentation and testing needs based on the actual product; specific requirements follow the agreed plan.
