1. Certification Overview

FSB Notification, also known as FSS Notification, refers to notification to Russia's Federal Security Service (Нотификация ФСБ). The Russian name is Федеральная служба безопасности, abbreviated FSB.

This is a registration notification to the Russian Federal Security Service for mobile wireless encryption products in the Customs Union. A notification is a formal statement from an organization or its authorized representative containing information about relevant facts, events or products.

The FSB is Russia's national counterintelligence and intelligence agency. It directly carries out the principal activities of the Federal Security Service, administers federal security matters within its authority, and coordinates federal executive bodies authorized to conduct counterintelligence operations. Internal entities use registered information names as code names. The Russian President directly leads the FSB under the Constitution, federal constitutional laws, federal intelligence provisions and federal laws.

4. Required Documents

1. Instructions or manual in English or Russian — required

2. Electrical schematics and an explanation of the operating principle in Russian.

3. Application form and instructions/technical description, including product name, model, customs code, encryption method and technical parameters

4. Product Photographs

5. ISO 9001 system certificate, CE certificate or FCC certificate, if available

6. Russian representative or importer details: company registration certificate (OGRN) and full company information, including name, legal address, general director, telephone, fax and email — required

7. Power of attorney notarized by the Russian embassy or consulate in China — required. After the contract is signed and the advance payment is received, we provide a template and drafted authorization letter and guide the customer through notarization.
