UKCA stands for UK Conformity Assessed Marking. It is a new UK product marking introduced to replace CE marking in the UK market. It applies in England, Wales and Scotland, but not Northern Ireland, and covers most products that previously required CE marking. Manufacturers may continue to use CE marking for entry into Great Britain until January 1, 2025. From January 1, 2025, products on the Great Britain market must bear UKCA marking in accordance with the relevant regulations.
