1. Certification Overview

Under regulations issued by Egypt's National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA), all communications equipment used in Egypt, including terminal and radio communications equipment, requires NTRA type approval. PVoC inspection issues only a Certificate of Conformity (CoC), with no certification mark.

2. Radio Communications Equipment
(1) Radio transmitting/receiving equipment
(2) Satellite communications equipment
(3) Cordless telephones
(4) Radar equipment
3. All indoor/outdoor and wired/wireless IT communications equipment.

5. GSMA network registration letter, if available

6. Copy of ISO 9001 certificate

7. NTRA VoC certificate, if available

5. Certification Process

For NTRA VoC certification, first obtain a CE certificate from a body recognized for Egypt, then convert it to NTRA VoC certification and complete PVoC inspection.

6. Certification Timeline & Validity

Timeline: 10 working days.

7. Factory Inspection

No factory inspection required
