1. Introduction to Safety Testing
Safety requirements define the standards that electronic products must follow in their design. They are developed according to product characteristics, intended uses and safety needs, and are updated as safety requirements and understanding evolve. Safety standards focus on protecting users and maintenance personnel, ensuring that electronic products do not create hazards during use. A safe design may allow some or all functions to fail, provided this does not endanger users.
2. Safety Testing Laboratory
The safety laboratory of a GTG Group affiliate combines a professional engineering team, comprehensive equipment and a suitable test environment to deliver rigorous, accurate testing. Established relationships with international organizations help resolve technical issues throughout development, testing and certification, supporting applications for CCC, CQC, CB, UL/CUL, ETL/CETL, CSA, SAA, CE, UKCA, GS, PSE and TÜV-Mark certification.
